Hey there, I absolutely loved the game! Hit me right in the feels. I just had to find out the True Ending and built up a bit of a Silent Let's Play for both True and Bad Endings. Naturally, spoilers for those wishing to avoid it!

Thank you so much for a great experience <3 Gale is truly the best of boys!

A solid start so far! It feels like the inspiration comes from not only Modern Resident Evils, but STALKER as well, the scares reminding me of FEAR, and equipping and shortcutting items hailing from Fallout New Vegas.

The base mechanics are super solid, and the concentration on utilizing light or light sources, even at the expense of better weapons later on is a really interesting mechanic and I am excited to see more. I also enjoy that bleeding, infection, and Radiation are something to pay attention to, and the food and water survival mechanics aren't too aggressive.

That being said, I found myself bleeding and infected anytime I took damage at all, and it feels a bit overkill. Perhaps having it be a percentage roll for standard enemies? It could also lead to introducing newer enemies down the road with higher chances of bleed, infection, or even radioactive.

While I see where the game is going with it, combat definitely need some polish. All fights seem to revolve around popping some early enemies, and backpedaling in circles while unloading at a large ball of dudes. AI is rather basic as well, HOWEVER it is still Alpha, so I understand it is early early. I found myself enjoying the exploration, and item management mechanic more than combat by far.

While I did enjoy looking around and looting, map is rather basic. A myriad of corridors set in a grid. It could very well be a rough draft, so again, understandable, but variety is the spice of life!

All in all, a grand start. I did enjoy this demo for what it is, and what it brings to the table. I'm excited to see what the team creates and where this goes!

Hey there Batandy! I just wanted to say I absolutely ADORE your work, thank you for all that you do!
